Founding CEO, Chris Lyman will remain as Chairman of the Board. What impact this will have on Fonality is too early to tell but Dean’s background and experience seems to play well with the direction of Fonality and it’s line of products. Dean’s former positions give him a lot of knowledge about cloud-based architectures and business models and Fonality’s Hybrid-Hosted trixbox Pro/PBXtra systems utilize this type of infrastructure while Fonality’s new Unbound product is a completely hosted solution.

Running HUD3 on OSX 10.6 will simply crash and since HUD3 is such a useful tool, there are a lot of people who really want this to work properly.

Fortunately, there is a solution. The problem is that HUD3 does not like the version of Java that comes with the 10.6 version of the Macintosh Operating System. In order to get HUD3 working, we need to revert back to a previous version for the time being.(...)
