The first VoIP conference telephone from snom, the snom MeetingPoint, is the ideal addition for business travelers who must make frequent crosslocation arrangements.
In this tutorial Kerry walks you through configuring an extension in 3CX and then how to manually configure the snom MeetingPoint Conference Phone to register to that extension. At the time of this writing, there is no provisioning for the MeetingPoint in 3CX so the phone has to be manually configured, but fear not, its not that hard.
In this tutorial Kerry walks you through the process of configuring the snom 300 series phones with the open source trixbox CE IP PBX platform. During this video you will see how to use the new trixbox CE Endpoint Manager, how to setup DHCP to help provision the phones, and how to setup the phone manually to pull the configuration files.
In this tutorial Kerry walks you through the 3CX interface to show how to configure an extension and setup the extension to create the proper configuration files for the snom 3xx series phones. After the extension is configured, he then shows how to setup a DHCP server to tell the phone where to find the file and also demonstrates how to tell the phone itself how to grab the file if your DHCP server doesn’t support the Option 66 feature.
