Installing a Sangoma A101D card in 3CX

A101 3CX Thumb 150x150 Installing a Sangoma A101D card in 3CXTrying to get a Sangoma A101D PRI card working with 3CX can seem a little intimidating the first time since there is more to just plugging it in and having it work. The “secret sauce” is Sangoma’s software interface, NetBorder Express. What NetBorder Express does is it talks directly to the card and then creates a SIP trunk interface that any SIP compliant IP PBX system can then talk to. Since NetBorder Express is available for Windows, this makes it the ideal way of using a Sangoma A101D card with 3CX.Ā  We just need to install the software, get it configured, and we are then ready to go.

In the video tutorial shown below, we cover the steps needed to get the Sangoma A101D working and go through a walk through of how to configure NetBorder Express and then how to configure 3CX to talk to NetBorder Express.

The easiest process to follow in order for things to go as smooth as possible is:

  1. Get 3CX up and running
  2. Install NetBorder Express
  3. Shutdown computer and install interface card
  4. Bring computer system back up and configure NetBorder Express
  5. Configure 3CX for the correct interface card
  6. Save config file to NetBorder Express folder
  7. Restart Gateway

Sangoma has some QuickStart guides available that walk you through the process as well:
