Online Store3CX Voice Application Designer Beta Debutes
3CX has announced that their VAD (Voice Application Designer) beta software is available for download, which can create powerful applications that will automate common business processes for your employees. There are endless possibilities for this tool, one of which popped in my head for our own use would be the ability to request a support contract ID and then verify it against the existing database to ensure a customer has a valid support contract before getting on the phones with tech support staff. Prior to this it was necessary to outsource a programmer to make custom scripts for a specific phone system, which can obviously be very expensive and time consuming. Now with the VAD, this can be accomplished independently with its intuitive use of GUI.
Software phone systems really showcase their advancement over traditional analog systems with add-on modules such as this. It’s going to be interesting to see how much 3CX evolves over the years with the introduction of even more add-on modules that will allow customers to branch their phone system out in many different ways.
The 3CX VAD will be an available add-on module for your existing 3CX Phone System, and a free edition will also be available which will have a reduced set of “building blocks” for use.
